It’s been a busy week for us—between polishing the No One Leaves the Field demo, prepping for Steam Scream Fest, and publishing new Next Fest coverage on IndieSagas. The field is almost ready for players to explore, and we’re excited to share what’s coming next for No One Leaves the Field.
🛠️ Final No One Leaves the Field Demo Polish

This week’s update focused on bringing No One Leaves the Field demo to its most refined state yet.
We’ve:
- Cleaned up the build and tightened visuals
- Added a tutorial screen for controls
- Prepared and submitted the Steam demo build, which has now been approved by Valve
The game is officially ready for Steam Scream Fest and Indie Playtest Fest, where players will finally get to explore the cursed field for themselves.
📣 Press Kit Updated
The official press kit has been refreshed and now has its own page on the studio website.
It includes new screenshots, key art, and updated demo info.
🎥 Kinda Funny Shout-Out
This week we had an exciting moment when Blessing and Snowbike Mike from Kinda Funny Games checked out the No One Leaves the Field Steam page live on stream!
For anyone unfamiliar, Kinda Funny is an independent, eleven-person media company based in San Francisco. They produce some of the most popular podcasts and YouTube shows in gaming, including Kinda Funny Games Daily and PS I Love You XOXO, along with livestreams and in-depth industry coverage.
As a longtime listener, I (Jaime) tune in to their podcast every day on my commute home, so it was genuinely exciting to see them take a look at the game. Having a team like Kinda Funny even mention No One Leaves the Field is an awesome milestone for a small indie studio like ours.
🧟 Next Steps: Demo Launch + Outreach

The No One Leaves the Field demo launches Tuesday, October 21st, and we’ll be reaching out to press and horror streamers throughout the week.
If you cover horror or indie games, we’d love to connect:

🤖 Multiplayer Prototype Incoming
Outside of No One Leaves the Field, the team has also been working on a multiplayer prototype.
It’s still early, but we plan to release it for free on itch.io once it’s ready—more details soon.
