This week marks a major milestone for Digital Sagas. Shape Swarm is featured in Steam Next Fest, we’re closing in on full gameplay completion, and we’re excited to announce a new action-roguelike project, Cartridge Carnage. Meanwhile, Indie Sagas continues expanding with our first curated Mini Showcase. Here’s everything we’ve been building.

🎮 Shape Swarm – Steam Next Fest
Next Fest is here, and Shape Swarm is officially live with its public demo.
This week we focused on tightening the demo experience:
- Smoother early-game ramp
- Faster build activation
- Cleaner pacing between waves
- Improved late-wave pressure and clarity
At the same time, we’re continuing work on the full gameplay mode, including:
- Additional shapes entering the evolution chain
- Expanded late-game enemy behaviors
- A few surprises beyond the demo cap
Our goal is to complete core gameplay content within the next couple of weeks and then shift fully into polish.
If you haven’t already:
👉 Wishlist Shape Swarm and try the demo during Next Fest.
Festival momentum makes a huge difference for small studios.

🆕 New Project Announcement – Cartridge Carnage
We’re excited to officially announce a new project from the team:
Cartridge Carnage
Loot. Shoot. Repeat.
Cartridge Carnage is a mashup of rogue-like bullet heaven gameplay, retro-style top-down dungeon crawler mechanics, and a dash of crude violence and humor.
This project has been in development for the past year as both a creative experiment and a Unity learning initiative for the team. What started as a training ground evolved into something we’re genuinely proud of.
Current target: Late 2026 release
The Steam page is now live.
👉 Show the team some support by wishlisting:

Early wishlists truly help us build momentum.
