This week’s Wishlist Wednesday brings together political satire, strategic town planning, and an Arthurian monster-collecting adventure.

Overdue turns a rescue mission into a fight against censorship. Town of Tinysville combines deckbuilding with tightly packed city construction. Prince Arthur: Monsters of Albion offers a sprawling creature-collecting RPG inspired by British history and mythology.
Overdue

Developer: Zinda Murda
A meme has landed someone in serious trouble.

Overdue is a first-person stealth-action shooter in which you play as a freelance mercenary hired to extract the creator of an image mocking a powerful dictator. What begins as a straightforward rescue soon uncovers a broader campaign to suppress criticism, erase humor, and control free thought.
Players will infiltrate guarded facilities, collect intelligence, and adjust their equipment as the operation grows more dangerous. Stealth is presented as the preferred approach, but the available weapons suggest missions may not always remain quiet.
The unusual premise gives Overdue a satirical identity while still leaving room for tense infiltration and firefights. Its release date has not yet been announced. (Steam Store)
Town of Tinysville

Developer: 7Seven Studios
Town of Tinysville asks what happens when a deckbuilder replaces battles with urban planning.

Each card adds a new building to a limited grid, where placement can create valuable production chains or undermine the town surrounding it. Players must manage money, resources, beauty, available space, and an expanding deck while adapting to the layout produced during each run.
Buildings can strengthen or weaken nearby structures, making careful zoning one of the game’s central challenges. Its upgradeable laws can also reshape the town’s economy, reinforce an existing strategy, or introduce new restrictions midway through a run.
The full game is planned to include 14 towns, seven difficulty districts per town, more than 250 cards, and 36 laws. A playable demo is currently available, with the full release planned for Q1 2027. (Steam Store)

Prince Arthur: Monsters of Albion

Developers: Jason Bowen and Oliver Chappell
Prince Arthur: Monsters of Albion combines Arthurian legend with turn-based creature collecting.
As Camelot’s chosen heir, players must challenge Morgana’s claim to the throne, liberate captured forts, and prove themselves worthy of ruling Albion. Arthur does not face the journey alone, however. A magical summoning ring allows players to collect, command, battle, and transform monsters found throughout the kingdom.

The adventure features 77 obtainable monsters divided among 24 classes, with parties able to field three creatures at once. Players can also gather resources, craft equipment, solve puzzles, complete quests, explore dungeons, pick locks, fish, forage, and travel between regions using witch portals.
Its monster-crafting system allows creatures to be enhanced and adapted for different strategies. The game also includes morality and bravery systems, historical information, British folklore, and an area teaching basic Welsh phrases and numbers.
Unlike the other two selections, Prince Arthur: Monsters of Albion is already available, having released on September 23, 2024. A free demo is also available. (Steam Store)
