This week’s Wishlist Wednesday spotlights three indie titles exploring very different corners of action design: brutal fantasy revenge, introspective fire-magic roguelite combat, and a grotesque sci-fi body-modification survival experience. If you’re building your Steam wishlist for upcoming releases, these are worth keeping on your radar.
Blood And Mead

Developer: Lost Relic Games
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1081830/Blood_And_Mead/

Blood And Mead follows Ulric, a hatchet-wielding barbarian on a mead-fueled quest for revenge across a harsh fantasy landscape. The game leans into fast, brutal melee combat with unlockable skills, massive boss encounters, and the ability to enter Berserker Mode to overwhelm enemies in spectacular fashion.
From the Iron Coast to the dangerous Black Kingdom, players will travel across varied regions while facing dozens of enemy types, including terrifying figures like the Crying Maiden of the Black Keep. The dark folk-metal soundtrack helps reinforce the game’s raw, warrior-driven tone.
If you enjoy aggressive action RPG combat and classic revenge-driven fantasy storytelling, Blood And Mead is an easy wishlist candidate.

Ignitement

Developer: Sørb
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3845350/Ignitement/
Ignitement is a roguelite action-RPG where combat is framed as a spiritual descent into the self. You play as a Fire Shaman confronting manifestations of grief, regret, and rage in a metaphysical underworld shaped by memory and emotion.

Each run lasts roughly twenty minutes and builds toward intense boss encounters representing inner fears rather than traditional monsters. Combat stands out thanks to a custom fluid-simulation fire system that gives spells a strong physical presence on screen.
Progression revolves around masks, curses, and soul-coin upgrades that subtly reshape how each run unfolds. With no companions or external guidance, the experience emphasizes solitude, reflection, and mastery through repetition.
For players who enjoy roguelites with strong atmosphere and symbolic storytelling, Ignitement is one to watch closely.
THE IRONY

Developer: SYLOPON
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3164230/THE_IRONY/

THE IRONY drops players into the ruins of Underdog Corp, a research facility consumed by illegal human experimentation. As a mercenary investigator sent to uncover the truth, survival quickly becomes a transformation story about how much of yourself you’re willing to sacrifice to escape.
Enemies enhanced with mechanical limbs force you to adapt by grafting their prosthetics onto your own body. Each upgrade strengthens you—but pushes you further from your humanity.
Combat focuses on timing and precision using a transforming weapon that shifts between firearm and baton, encouraging parries and counterattacks rather than reckless attacks. The game’s hybrid 2.5D presentation blends pixel-inspired textures with modern lighting to create a bleak, PS2-era sci-fi horror atmosphere.
Fans of experimental action systems and body-horror themes should keep this one on their radar.
